Hello beautiful people & welcome to my page.

My name is Rayley Patterson and I am the owner of Images by Rayley. I am based in Cedar Falls, IA but I also travel to some local surrounding areas. I specialize in family photos, small weddings, engagement / couples photos, baby / milestone sessions, maternity, high school seniors / graduation pictures, headshots / branding sessions, and portrait photography. A little about me: I'm a mother of two beautiful strong willed & wild children & I am a wife to my high school sweetheart of 15 years (married for 8 of those years). We built on 3 acres of family land and after 2 1/2 years of living here, we still don't have the luxury of having vibrant green grass. However, if you need advice with crab grass then I'm your girl.

Family, Maternity & Couples

$450 | up to 50 min | 20 edits

Family sessions will highlight sincere, beautiful moments between parents, children, and siblings.
Maternity sessions focus on the mother, but also capture the love of the expecting couple and their children.
Couples sessions showcase the couple’s personality, whether that’s romantic or playful (or both!).

These sessions are designed to photograph one individual/close friends. Portrait sessions are perfect for celebrating seniors (high school or college) and their end of the school year accomplishments with their caps and gowns and other fun things, content creators, head shots for your business portfolio., or just to celebrate your own beauty.

$300 | 40 min | 10 edits

Seniors

I am here to give you a one of a kind portrait experience that will leave you filled up with an incredible amount of self love while helping you discover that you’re incredible by just being who you are in this present moment

Seniors, expect to have up to 3 outfit changes.. We can discuss your locations upon learning more about what makes you, you.

in home/fresh 48 session

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!

In Homes: I want to capture the raw & real moments + details of your first 2 weeks of being home so baby should typically be no older than 2 weeks old. I will provide some wraps/props.

Natural light is a must.

Fresh 48: Your hospital stay is usually up to 2 days. I will come to you in the morning of 1 of those 2 days and I will capture all those sweet baby details that we never want to forget.

mini session

Basically put, a mini-session is a small version of a full session. Think of it as a small bite of a cake. It gives people the taste of a full session and keeps them wanting more. It’s for immediate families, milestones, seniors who just want a couple of shots and then to be done kind of thing.

Extended Family

Extended family sessions are more than just your immediate family, it’s your grandparents, grandkids, cousins, aunts, and uncles in one photo. I can’t encourage you enough to prioritize extended family portraits. Years from now, you will be so very grateful that you made a point to get everyone together for a large family session. It is more than worth the effort, and I guarantee you’ll love every minute of it.

ALL SESSIONS INCLUDE: HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL IMAGES DELIVERED VIA DIRECT DOWNLOAD FROM A PRIVATE GALLERY, PRINT RELEASE, & STYLING HELP FROM YOURS TRULY! SOME COLORS CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOUR IMAGES (THINK NEUTRALS, POPS OF COLOR, SUBTLE DESIGNS, ETC.)

ALL CLIENTS HAVE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL IMAGES FROM THEIR GALLERY.

PAY IN FULL OR PAY HALF YOUR SESSION FEE (NON REFUNDABLE RETAINER) AT THE TIME OF BOOKING TO HOLD YOUR DATE.

FOR BEST LIGHT, MY SESSIONS ARE DONE DURING GOLDEN HOUR (60 MINUTES BEFORE SUNSET) PLEASE PLAN NAP TIMES ACCORDINGLY.

EXPECT SNEAK PEEKS WITHIN 1 - 5 DAYS AFTER YOUR SESSION WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IT COULD TAKE LONGER. MY GOAL IS TO GET YOUR GALLERIES DELIVERED ON TIME & SOMETIMES SNEAK PEEKS CAN SET ME BACK.

TURN AROUND TIMES FOR GALLERIES ARE 4 - 6 WEEKS WITH WEDDINGS BEING UP TO 3 MONTHS

ALL SESSIONS WILL BE SHOT AT LOCATIONS GIVEN BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER UNLESS DISCUSSED OTHERWISE. ALL LOCATIONS WILL BE SENT TO CLIENTS 1 - 2 DAYS BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED SESSIONS. I TAKE THE TIME TO SCOUT ALL MY LOCATIONS AHEAD OF TIME BUT THE SCENERY CAN CHANGE ON THE DAILY.
